Our mission is to inform, empower, and raise awareness by sharing resources that advance equity for women and individuals with disabilities in education and the workforce
Who “we” are…
Hi, I’m Halsey Jennings, and I created AbledPlus to help people like me. I was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD as a child, and for as long as I can remember, I struggled to find the right resources to support my learning and growth. AbledPlus was born out of that experience. My goal is to create a one-stop place where individuals with disabilities can find information, tools, and support to thrive in school and in the workplace. Through my work in accessibility at the University of Georgia, Accenture, and the Schenck School, I’ve seen how powerful the right resources can be. Everyone deserves access to the support they need, and AbledPlus exists to help level the playing field.
